GENERAL SALE CONDITIONS
This document establishes the terms and conditions of the contractual relationship regarding the purchase/sale of products offered by www.ecogourmetshop.co.uk website (hereinafter, “THE COMPANY” ) and that establishes between THE COMPANY and natural or legal persons (hereinafter “THE CUSTOMER”) who are declaring their willingness to buy the aforementioned items by the request made via the internet through this website.
These Sale Terms and Conditions together with the request for specific products made by THE CUSTOMER involved, formalizes the purchase agreement between THE COMPANY and THE CUSTOMER who claims to have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
By means of these Sale Terms and Conditions, THE COMPANY agrees to deliver to THE CUSTOMER the products ordered through this website www.ecogourmetshop.co.uk in exchange for a specified price.
By purchasing products on this site THE CUSTOMER declares:
- That is a person legally entitled to make a purchase;
- That he/she has read, understood and agreed to these Sale Terms and Conditions;
The interpretation and enforcement of these conditions, as well as all acts resulting from them, shall be subject to Spanish law, except in the case that there are other legal provisions contrary to this law.
The modification of the General Conditions
THE COMPANY reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice to THE CUSTOMER who in any case is responsible to review them as a prerequisite to the purchase of any product available through this web page. In any case, the Terms and Conditions that were exposed on the web site at the time when the customer made the purchase of the products are considered valid and applicable.
The offers displayed by THE COMPANY are valid within the limits of available stock that the suppliers have at any given time. Thus, THE COMPANY will inform about product unavailability due to the fact that they hold limited stock, as they prefer a better product preservation in the suppliers’ storage facilities.
THE COMPANY reserves the right to change the products available according to the constraints imposed by its suppliers.
THE COMPANY shall not be liable in the event that the product is not in stock or that the delivery takes longer than indicated in the product details, in which case THE COMPANY shall inform the THE CUSTOMER of the new delivery date by email. In the event that the product selected by the customer is not in stock, THE CUSTOMER will have the option to cancel the order or THE COMPANY will replace the product with one of similar or higher quality.
The photographs and the product descriptions offered for sale are only indicative and do not bind THE COMPANY in any way.
Estimated product delivery time
The maximum time limit for delivery is 30 calendar days, while the usual delivery time is from 4 to 6 days.
THE COMPANY is committed to delivering the product in perfect condition to the customer’s delivery address as stated in the order form. THE COMPANY shall not be liable for any errors in the delivery process caused by omissions or other mistakes in the data entered by the customer in the order form.
The approximate delivery time for each product will be the one indicated in the purchase email confirmation. If the product is not in stock, THE COMPANY will inform the THE CLIENT of the new deadline by email.
- The purchased products will be delivered to the person and the address specified in the order form.
- By default, the invoices will be sent to the email address specified by the customer when ordering.
- There will be no orders dispatched or delivered on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
- However, the delay does not justify the order cancelation or any other compensation.
- An order is considered delivered at the time the carrier delivers the package or packages to THE CUSTOMER and when the delivery receipt is signed for. THE CUSTOMER must check the condition of the goods upon receipt and indicate any incongruity on the delivery note.
All the products offered on the online store have legal guarantee
PRICES AND PAYMENT FORM
The prices quoted on the website are in Euros and are valid except for typographical errors. All prices include VAT (unless otherwise stated) applicable on the date of the order, any change in the VAT rate will be applied automatically to the prices of the products on sale on the website.
These prices do not include the cost of dispatching the products, which are listed separately and must be accepted by THE CUSTOMER.
How can I pay for the products?
When ordering, THE CUSTOMER can choose to pay for the purchases made on the web site by:
- Credit or debit card
- Bank transfer
- Any other means of payment made available by THE COMPANY for THE CUSTOMER
In ECOGOURMET SHOP, we are conscious about the environment, which is why we issue our invoices in PDF format. THE CLIENT expressly accepts the receipt of the order invoice by electronic means.
THE CLIENT must necessarily retain this invoice for exercising the right of withdrawal or for requesting the legal guarantee of the purchased products.
However, if THE CLIENT wishes to obtain a paper bill, THE CLIENTS can request it by sending an email to info [at] ecogourmetshop.com
THE COMPANY works to achieve your maximum satisfaction, however if for any reason you are not satisfied with your order please notify us no later than 14 calendar days to info[at]ecogourmetshop.com, indicating the order number and the nature of your inconvenience. Then we will contact you to find a satisfactory resolution and indicate the steps to follow.
We will not accept exchanges or returns that have not been previously reported.
If one or more products have been delivered with damaged received in transit
THE CUSTOMER should check the state of the order at the time of receipt and make a note on the delivery receipt of any problem before signing it, in addition to reporting the incidence by email at info[at]ecogourmetshop.com within a maximum of 24 hours from delivery so we can process the claim (Article 952.2 of the Commercial Code).
If one or more received products do not match the order
If for any reason you receive an item that does not match your order, THE COMPANY will dispatch the correct products or refund the corresponding amount by the same method of payment used. THE COMPANY shall bear all the extra transport costs that may arise, provided that the product has not been used, altered or damaged.
Returns without any inconveniences (right of withdrawal)
Information on right of withdrawal
You are entitled to withdraw from this contract within 14 calendar days without any justification.
The withdrawal period shall expire 14 calendar days from the day you or a third party indicated by you, other than the delivery service provider, acquired the material possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify (ecoGourmet SHOP, Att .: Diego Roldan Lafont, C / Pablo Iglesias 39 – 6 °C, 50018 Zaragoza (Spain), info [at] ecogourmetshop.com) about your decision to withdraw from the contract through a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email).
In order to comply with the withdrawal period it’s sufficient that the communication concerning the exercise of this right is sent before the expiry of the deadline.
Effects of withdrawal
In case of withdrawal on your part, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery charges (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive ordinary delivery method that we offer) without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 calendar days from the date on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such refund using the same payment method as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly specified otherwise; in any case, we will not incur any costs as a result of the refund. We may withhold the reimbursement until we have received the goods and found that they are in perfect condition and in the original packaging.
Should you return the goods without undue delay and in any case no later than within 14 calendar days from the date on which you communicate your decision to withdraw from the contract, to the following address:

This deadline will be considered met if you send back the goods before the period has ended.
Returning Products with Defects
If any of the products purchased present any defects, they may be returned. To avoid misunderstandings, all products must maintain the characteristics in terms of weight / volume as the original, except for the sample that you may have tested to determine that the product is in poor condition.
Returning Hams and Shoulders
THE CUSTOMER must take into account that Iberian pork has a higher proportion of fat than white pork therefore a piece with more fat accumulation should not be considered defective. As a general rule, in an Iberian ham 40 % of the weight of the piece is used with the remaining 60 % being discarded; in an Iberian joint 50% is used and the remaining 50 % corresponds to the bone, skin, hoof and excess yellow fat.
To accept returns, the hams and the joints must retain the original seal:
The products will be sent directly to the supplier, who will determine if the product has defects that make it unfit for consumption.
WARNING: Remember to keep the product packaging until you are satisfied that the product is in perfect condition. Before opening any product, verify that it matches your request. In case there are any problems, do not remove the product from its original packaging and contact THE COMPANY immediately at info[at]ecogourmetshop.com.
Cancelling the order
If THE CUSTOMER cancels the order before the product is dispatched, THE CUSTOMER will not incur any expense. In the case of cancellation after the order has been dispatched, the customer will be responsible for the shipping and return costs of the same order.
