Bodegas y Viñedos Palacios Duque aims to provide the highest quality wines, taking good care of every detail in order to achieve unique results.
They have some vines that are over 100 years old and minority varieties in Rioja such as the local Graciano and Tempranillo “Peludo”.
All winemaking is done manually when the moon is crescent, starting with a rigorous grape selection in the field and a second selection of 50% of the harvest for the bottling wine
The Organic Red Wine Padús has an intense ruby colour slightly purplish.
Forthright scent and intense flavours of ripe fruit (applesauce, jam), currants and forest berries. A vanilla setting.
To the palate is soft to start with but surprises with a big bang when heated. Stressed roasted coffee, snuff and vanilla flavours. With large round aftertaste.
